Tax Help

Tax Help is a free service to help people earning $60,000 or less and with simple tax affairs manage their tax obligations. Tax Help is a network of community based volunteers who are available to help eligible taxpayers prepare and lodge their tax returns using myTax.

Volunteers can also assist people to complete amendments, claim a refund of franking credits and create a myGov account. The service operates from July - October each year and operates through a network of Tax Help centres located nationwide at venues such as libraries, community centres, neighbourhood houses, migrant resource centres and other community organisation sites.
