Your options to complete the new small business unitWritten on the 12 March 2024 by SAFCA This is a nationally recognised unit of competency that assists students (including practicing financial counsellors and rural financial counsellors) to gain the knowledge and skills to work as a financial counsellor with clients that operate a small business. This is a new unit in the Diploma of Financial Counselling. It provides the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to identify the structure and current financial position of a small business and to use this information when providing information and advice as part of the delivery of financial counselling services to a client with a small business. TAFE SA – Short course – semester 1 2024 TAFE SA will run two short courses in semester 1 2024.
This course is an interactive way to develop skills to work with small business in the financial counselling context. It is designed for existing financial counsellors with a Diploma of Financial Counselling qualification. Cost is $650 per person (based on achieving minimum numbers).
